HD 7950 and GTX 670 compete when overclocked. At stock the GTX 670 is clocked higher and has the edge. But who cares for stock. Look at the HD 7900 users thread. HD 7950 OC cards are rocking at 1100 - 1200 Mhz speeds. For price perf in the high end HD 7950 cannot be beat.

The 660 Ti already competes with the 7950, did you not see the results? The 660 Ti beat the 7950 in most cases and by a significant margin.

You don't know how well the 660 Ti will over clock so nothing meaningful can be said about over clock performance yet.

the only page in the tweaktown review worth seeing is the one which has AA performance. and that puts the GTX 660 Ti behind the HD 7950. Also the game suite used at tweaktown is a joke. Not a single game released in the last 12 months is tested. Wait for launch day reviews. Let us see how it performs with AA in the most demanding games .

What are you smoking? Common sense will tell you no a card slotted to compete with the 670 will be outperformed by the 660Ti.
I will leave you this bench screen, reportedly of the 3GB MSI 660Ti.

Sketchy pic is sketchy. The 7950 is supposed to compete with the 670, but doesnt really.

it's a typo in gpu-z, the card has 2GB vram. all this back and forth is nuts. my 670DC2T beat out most 680 benchmarks in all the games I tested at out of box speeds (my card couldn't even handle a +20mhz offset, so no overclocking on my part) and my 7950 (which does 1125mhz on stock voltage so I'll take it lol) is faster than my 670 was in all but BF3, where it's 7fps slower, but doesn't crash anymore (due to my 670 boosting too high, once it hit 1300mhz that was goodnight) so we can't speculate how this compares to that just yet. we all know an 800mhz 7950 crawls, but my 7950 came at 950mhz stock and would never be equal or slower than this card, especially with the settings turned up. seen the 660ti as fast as the 7850 in the only relevant game in the TT review.

Yeah the pic is quite confusing,I agree. As for the 670 vs 7950,there is a lot of different opinions, and different performance in different games and benches. I feel like there is some driver tweaking(or cheating) going on in most of the published benches. Since this is OCN, I use the stats at HWBOT for my comparisons. If you look at Unigine Heaven top results, which uses heavy tessalation, this is were they stand.

can only mean being a faster card. as in faster overall, determined by being faster in the majority of games/situations. seems pretty simple.
