Dead pixel, UDPIxel work?

So I downloaded UDPixel in hopes to solve my dead pixel problem, have a few clusters on the left edge of my ASUS 27"

but I don't know how to use this program it says click start and move the flashing box to the locatin, i see NO flashing box. it only runs tests per each color when I click them. I set to 5x5 anc click start and I see no flashing box square on any of my monitors

EDIT: found the flashing squares, guess I'll leave this on for hours and then post results if it works or if it does not

I've never had any luck with those programs. How many dead pixels are they?


Post the model and I will see if you can have it replaced. If it has more that 5 dead it can more than likely be replaced.

It's like small clusters, seems like 50-100

50 - 100 ?!?!?!?!??!?

On your particular display if there is over 5 dead pixels the unit will be replaced. Give them a phone.

how many pixels are on one screen? 1920x1080? 2,073,600 then on HD display?

I bought the item as New (Other) on ebay, looks like it was sold on newegg in April, apparently a return probably for the dead pixels
