I played it for awhile. Got bored and hated the idea of paying to play it. I may pick it back up to kill time.

lol i called that it would be f2p right away, and here it is tongue.gif im pretty much an f2p only gamer now. So many good titles that are free I cant help it, plus alot more money to spend on other things

Yup, everyone could see this coming from a mile anyway. I still probably won't ever play it, no Bioware story or Starwars theme is worth playing ANOTHER bad WoW clone. I just can't do it anymore. For those of you who haven't played an MMO before though this is a pretty good deal. Now you can play a Starwars MMO and a Lord of the Rings MMO without paying a dime!

And yes, GW2 is pretty fantastic. Glad to see the love for it in this thread.

Major I told you so moment for me. I called this during beta of last year and was personally attacked by over 20 people on GameFAQs, MMORPG, and the official forums.

It's not that I'm good at predicting things, it's just the video game industry climate and the lack of sustainability SWTOR has.
