Ok so in the past every once and while I would find my computer has shutdown and the ''ntdlr not found'' message on the screen. If i reset and go into bios my OS drive wont even be there.
I figured out that all I have to do to fix this is unplug the power from the drive and plug it back in, set my boot priority back to my OS drive in bios and everything is fine.
As of late now, I will be trolling and the computer just freezes. I still have mouse control and can click on icons but nothing opens. alt-ctrl-del doesn't even work. The screen then goes black, still have mouse control, and a message pops up about windows not having something......, yes I know, but I can't remember excalty what it was....lol
I have to hard reset and go though the unpluging of the drive. Also I lose all my saved logins (like this site) and my history.....
Think this is my drive? Or OS.
Windows 7 Ultimate - I have disc and key
Vertex 3 240GB
Other components can be found in my 24/7 rig in my sig.
I haven't tried to wipe the drive yet as I still need to back up the data....
