i have a question, should i go for a blackwidow ultimate or a ducky shine w/ blacks+white leds? i just checked max keyboards, but they are a little expensive for me, well after i order a MX Black switch. i figured that the best switch that suits me is the black, but i think the blue is also somewhat suitable. i was thinking of a HPE 87 Mechanical Gaming keyboard Cherry MX Black W/ Black body, it is $70 but it lacks backlighting, even though it isnt a big deal for me, i have a G19 that i bought for a bargain from a bro of mine, and the backlighting is addicting. i mostly use it with white lighting. i also know the blackwidow is blue backlit and with blue switches, but i can do some soldering work to change all leds to whites. also what are the differences between the blackwidow ultimate series? there is one for 2012/2013 and stealth, and the normal ultimate.

edit: i also saw that the 2012 special edition for duckys are out, there are 2 configs i liked, blue switches with blue leds and black switches with green leds. should i go for them? just to own a special edition something tongue.gif

i have owned a saitek eclipse, a das ultimate silent (cherry brown) and finally i'm currently using a max x8 blue (cherry brown)

i have to say i love the max x8, the matte finish is gorgeous, the usb hub ports are located in the right spot (upwards rather than sideways as in the das ultimate) and finally the backlighting is essential.

oh and keys are they way i like them ... a big enter key, the "\" above the enter. other keyboards have variations on this.
