Due to cable management I am wondering if I could cut the molex cable for the pump on the H100. I would still have the 3-Pin plugged into my mobo. I just hate seeing the huge molex cable out in my case if I'm not using it. I don't have any fans plugged into my pump.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but doesn't the 3-pin cable just give the RPM readings to your motherboard?
Cutting off the molex cable would not be a sound move, as that would cut the power supply to the pump inside the H100 which would result in the water not moving and quite easily make the CPU overheat.
Long story short, don't do it unless you know exactly what the different cables do.

You can cut it off with no issues other than possible warranty problems, make sure cut ends are safely sealed from shorting out.

I wouldn't do this.. H100 is really expensive and if it makes it stop working (somehow) it'll pretty much void your warranty and you'll have to replace it.
That and there are ALOT of H100 problems, if yours is part of the dodgy batch that I keep hearing about i'd be careful.
You could always tape the cable and cover it up?

Don't do it. The MOLEX connector on the H100 is what powers the pump, and if you plug fans into it, the fans.
You can separate the MOLEX and three-pin line by just pulling. I'd recommend doing that if you need more room.
The purpose of the three pin fan-connector is to tell the H100 whether to spin fans up, or down, and so the motherboard doesn't "yell at you" for not having a CPU fan in. (Hence why the CPU fan is only one power line.) And yes, though you can set the "fan" speed with the H100's button in the middle, that more directly controls the speed of the liquid that flows through it.

Don't cut it. The molex gives power to the pump. The 3-pin mobo connector is just for RPM readings and not for power.

First off if you don't know or understand what that molex connection does. Then please don't give bad advice on something like that. That is what causes people to mess up their hardware for bad answers like this. If you don't know or understand what the op's question is. Then simple don't post information that is bad or not correct.
As noted this is what powers the pump. So your advice you gave him was to cut it and have no power to the pump. Do you now see what I'm talking about on bad information. You would have been responsible for messing his H100 up. If he was trying to hide it and remove the pins and re-pin it back then that is fine. But just as others have stated, Don't cut that molex plug off.

Forgive me for being wrong but when thread starter said he was Not using molex connector I assumed incorrectly that it had power feed from other 3 pin connector on mobo like my 620 does.
