All 3 isn't a choice?

I have all three installed cause I know different people on all 3. Which do I prefer? Vent. I can't really explain why, maybe cause I've used it the longest and am just used to it, but I just prefer it to the others

I also use all 3. My favorite is mumble because people with no mics can still type and it gets read over TTS. and the voice is hilarious. Esp when it's <3 and it comes out " I less than three you"

Ah, didn't realize it was multiple choice, voted for all since I use all. But I do agree the TTS feature in vent /mumble is hilarious. Friends and I have spent hours just laughing our heads off at it.

Tbh, I'm not a big fan of mumble, It's definatly not the simplest of clients.

Curious though, I don't think i knew OCN had a mumble server till now, or anything, How large is it? 200? 500? 1000?

I have Mumble, but I never use it, except once every other week.

Otherwise I strictly use Skype and Skype alone.

Why no skype on the list? -_-

Yeah hop on sometime, there are lots of channels to occupy and we always have a healthy size group of gamers. Everyone is welcome and it's for OCN, for the community. thumb.gif

OCN can't provie a VOIP platform with skype, while the latency is good, and the sound quality is great.. It wouldn't fit with our specific application.

Thanks for voting and posting everyone thumb.gif

Just a little side note. I had no idea that all 3 have apps for Android devices. Might have to install all three and give them a whirl sometime.

Yes but there's a catch with that.. Mumble & Ventrilo have 3rd party clients no official support on Android. Only TS3 has official support for both the Android and iOS platforms. There is a specific fork of the Mumble clint that is more current and stable but it isn't on the play store. As far as Vent goes, I'd recommend Mangler but definitely try them out for yourself. thumb.gif
