Hey, I have a question about what type of surface is best for sweaty hands.

I currently use the WMO, I'm not sure what its surface is classified as, but I think its glossy?

Nothing is wrong with it, I just feel like upgrading, but it seems that rubber mice are popular. Is rubber good or bad for sweat? I know my intellimouse gets grimy really fast, but its also easy to clean.

I have fingertip grip, so the only real sweat contact points are my fingers as my palm just hovers above the mouse. I was looking at the Zowie AM because its similar shape to the intellimouse, but it has rubber so I'm not sure if I should get it.

I have sweaty hands, too.
Personally I don't like rubber.

I have a 2 Year old Deathadder 3500 and the rubber is very difficult to clean, it came off partly. And the rest still feels gluey.

I have glossy sides on the sides and it provides medium grip, cleaning is really easy.

So I personally would prefer a mouse with rough plastic, I guess `Logitech G400s are like that.

Yeah matte plastic (G400 or DA BE) are the best.

I would avoid smooth, glossy plastic, but I use a palm grip. I've literally seen droplets on the palm area of glossy mice after gaming. Note that the G500 that I'm using now doesn't count as glossy IMO.

The rough, textured plastic on the sides of the G400/500 gets really dirty though, just a warning.

I have hyperhydrosis, I really doubt a fan would solve anything

I might be getting surgery for it though, then perhaps this thread will be unnecessary

My G500 has not gotten dirty and I have had it over a 18 months.
