Like I explained earlier, every usb3 jack requires a 10-pin connector, but they have to be in a single row, you can't use the hd audio / usb duponts as those split the 10 pins over two rows (plus, each of those have 1 blocked socket so it creates a whole new incompatibility).
However, I can tell you that I split the front panel usb2 cable into two connectors. It usually goes into one connector and one usb header but for cable management purposes I decided to split them. It makes the motherboard look more "utilized" ie, filling the headers for more complete look.
