It seems from your hardware list you have put some thought into it.. Personally, not enough room in that case for me. Post some pics if you can tongue.gif

Good luck

Good luck

Thanks smile.gif looks like some fins on the h100 rad are lightly damaged. Gonna have to leak test for sure.

The sound card and monitor will be here on friday. Changed it up a bit too. Instead of the n52te i picked up a g13, instead of the stx i opted for the rog phoebus due to improved drivers and i got a killer deal on a asus vg236h + 3d kit.

Pics will be up when i get home. Should also be posting some pics of the current build stage. I must say through the window, the comp looks like a sexy beast.

Well, here's a setback....

A quote from the tech who's doing the leak test / setup / firmware / mobo bios flash etc.

"your machine passed the leak test it was left powered on all night with litmus paper all around the rad and there is 0 signs of any leaks. Although your machine was locked up in the bios. I powered the machine off and it will no longer power on. The power led blinks with your power supply and will not power. I have tried the machine with a known working power supply and the blinking for the power led goes away but it still will not power. "

sounds like there's a short somewhere, tell him to try testing the system outside the case on something like the motherboard box or otherwise cardboard. smile.gif

Turns out the motherboard killed itself, ordered a new one. Should be all together next week.

Have you tried to RMA the dead one yet?

I agree, if you have the money is way quicker to order a new one. IMHO though after you assemble the computer you should RMA and then sell the motherboard to make up some of that cash. thumb.gif
