Logitech G400, any bad sides? - Page 3

The scroll wheel will occasionally register unwanted up or down movements when browsing the web. It's not a big deal.

Does the g400 have the use os native setting so you can use microsofts ballistics curve instead of logitechs. I like it much better on my g500 so I was wondering how it performs on the 400. I pretty much only use logitech drivers to set the side buttons up for assorted games and set dpi to 800.

G400 uses native OS mouse speed curve.

Do you want to throw your mouse ChromeBeauty?

I guess it is about a graph like this http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/2007/10/mouse-ballistics.html (scroll down a bit)

The G400 is quite bad if you:

1) Don't use palm grip

2) Don't use 800 DPI

3) Your hands are too big or too small

If none of the above apply to you it may be a good mouse if not its totally bad.

I don't use 800 DPI, claw grip my G400 mostly and it's good for me.
why 800? because its native dpi? what are the cons of using 400 or a custom dpi setting like 1600
