But best of all... who would have thought that the gpu makes less heat then cpu. My GPU load temps are 33-35. If I keep the fans full blast it stays at a cool 34. But when I put fans to 50% it hops between 33 and 35.
Your Temps look Fine for Stock Clocks. And i to am a firm believer in Excessive Rad. Lends to Running Fans at low rpm's for those "I need some Quiet Time Moments".. lol tongue.gif~~~~thumb.gif

It is really nice to have the silence. I am wondering how quiet they will be if I could turn them down to 600 rpm. I am not sure if I should buy a fan controller or just use this MSI Control Center software. All 5 fan headers on this board are PWM and I have up to 3 on a header with splitters but the control center only allows to turn them down to 50% which would be around 800 rpm. Would I even notice a difference?

On this subject my head is spinning here. I don't know where I want to mount what and I am probably driving Dwood crazy LOL as I have changed my mind like 100x. Like said above I am not sure if I am going to use a fan controller then I don't know if I want to mount my NZXT hue in the 5.25" drive bays or if I want to mount it below in the PSU cover and have it accessible when the side panel is off. 1 thing I do know for sure is that I want this stealth mounted below in the PSU cover and accessible from the rear. Of course I will have to cut the mobo tray for this but that is ok. smile.gif

What do you think I should do with the PSU cover? Leave it plain? Mount the Hue in there? nothing mounted in there and some cool stylized mpower logo thingermajiggy doodad in painted fan grill or with illuminated yellow plexi?

On a side Dwood said the backplates designs are coming along and are going to match with the motherboard and be "sweeeeeeeeet". I can't wait to see.

Just Remember Mainboard Headers Usually Are rated at 1 amp so just keep this in mind when adding Multiple fans to One Header..
I am a big fan of Separate Controller for fans.. Because of the Fact you can run other Loads as well.. be it Pumps or LED's.. Whatever..
My Lamptron FC5v2 is Awesome for this Purpose. 1 of my Pumps and Fan Banks...
As far as the Mod... I am having enough trouble with my Own right Now.. Do what you think is best. Maybe stop looking at it for awhile then come back to it. I usually have good idea's come if i leave it alone for Awhile.. thumb.gif

Came here from the OCN W/C gallery, and I must say what a beauty. I like how you cut the drive bay the good ol' way. biggrin.gif Also excellent job finding the right color coolant for the build.

BTW, how do you find the noise level with those Akasa 140s? Cheers.

All the fans are rated at 0.32A and have 2 of the headers power 3 fans and the other 3 headers powering 1 fan each. I double checked before I did this in the official Z77 Mpower thread. tongue.gif I didn't wanna smell any smoke. doh.gif

Yeah just looking at it I think it would be nice to have a fan controller in the top drive bay. WOuld keep most all of the fan cabling at the top of the case and would make it much easier to manage. On the down side I like the clean look of the front with no knobs or buttons protruding out of the drive bays. Aesthetics mean as much to me as functionality(i know, silly) and I am not fond of having my drive bays with stuff in them tongue.gif

What to do, what to do.

Do you have any input on stylizing the psu cover?

Thanks a bunch. wubsmiley.gif

Hehe that hack saw has proven me good! IT's really old. It used to be in my Gido's (grandpa in Ukrainian) garage when I was a youngster. He would be proud that it's getting put to use.

I'm loving the vipers at 800rpm but not soo much at 1600 tongue.gif If you go to the last page you can see some temps and such I commented on. It doesn't seem much temp difference between 50% and 100% speed.

Help me out here. Are you looking to Full Cover the bottom or do a Half-X style PSU Cover?

Why do you have you rear fans as a intake?

It will be full cover. That's why I chose a 140mm in the front instead of 280 tongue.gif

Because 2 in and 3 out is better then 1 in and 4 out. Plus the rear of the case sits very close to a window so I can get some really cold air blasting in there in winter. I am sure system would appreciate it once I really start to oc.
