Hello OCN, I was curious how far should I sit? Or if you have a 27" + monitor, how far do you sit from it? Thanks.... thumb.gif

As far or as close as you are comfortable with, Usually an arms length is a good standard of how far you should be at minimum. thumb.gif

I'm probably 1.5-2 arms length away, but sometimes it seems like I'm too close. Like when I'm playing a game everything on the outer edges seem out of focus and I'm too close, idk. Or maybe it's just me....

haha I mean, you should do whatever you're comfortable with. a 27" 1080 is pretty big so yeah it will not look as good up close as the density is just not there. If you had a 27" 1440 then it be a lot more tolerable to sit close up.

It's really based on personal preference, I think I've read somewhere that it is common for people to sit at least double the distance away from their screen size. (32 inch screen = 64 inches away).

I personally have a 32 inch 1080p tv as my monitor sitting on my desk roughly an arm span away.

I sit about 3 feet from my 23" monitor. So perhaps 3.5 feet, or somewhere around there for a 27"

Yikes I'm 3/4 arm length from my 27" monitor. I don't have the greatest vision though.

Pretty much this.

If reading 12pt text is hard, you're probably to far back.

That's another good standard, as far or as close as it takes to read size 12 font comfortably
