Well here in the US, I got my HTC One X for $400, a 16GB White (bleeeh!) SGS3 is $520 here, the blue is $550. And these are all prices for sim-locked models.

HTC One X WiFi and 3G/4G Internet connection problems still exist. My friend got it last week and he can't connect to the Internet half the time and it suddenly disconnects without any reason.

A friend of mine got the HTC One X over 3 weeks ago and he doesn't experience this problem. I have had my phone for a week and a half, and I haven't experienced it either. And I'm usually on wi-fi, both at house and at work.

Besides, HTC released a statement saying that they've fixed the issue on newer model. So either your friend bought an old stock phone, or the problem still exists in some production batches (but obviously not all).

Auction at eBay(.com, not .ca) (for an entirely new and sealed At&t grey HTC One X 16Gb), got it over a week ago.
The prices on eBay dropped around that time, and since then they have stabilized around ~$420. Not to mention you can get it from At&t for $450 - with no commitment.

One X world (quad-core, 32GB version). HTC is easy to root, One X has a good rom dev behind it, making IceColdJelly.

LOL, showing its age? Sorry but GNex with JB is insanely fast.

Droid-Life said in terms of speed, the Galaxy SIII (on ICS) eats the GNex's (on JB) lunch. It's no competition. Having used my sister's JB GNex, I agree. My S3 flies.

On top of that, the S3 just got the bootloader blown wide open today!

I would have to agree after using the S3 and the one X (both LTE versions) they are much faster then my nexus with JB, but honestly it's nothing really to jump out of your chair at there all very quick phones. I just want a LTE nexus device and i'll probably never upgrade it again (LTE service is surprisingly good where I live).

I would say, the GNex or S3. It depends if you care about the massively ugly home button on the S3.

Yeah, it's strange how prices vary so much.. Like I could have gotten a SGS3 blue on sale for $500 shipped, whereas a HTX One X was around $720.
It's the same with stuff that goes on sale here.. I bought (not bidded) on my 3570k off eBay about 2-3 weeks after release for $230 delivered, whereas on newegg at that time they were $250. The graphics card I'm about to buy is $300 (7950) and the same model is $390 on newegg right now!
