Help, G.SKILL Trident 2400 or G.SKILL Sniper 1866?

Howdy all. This is my first post so be easy on me wink.gif

So I ordered a set of 2x 4GB G.SKILL Sniper 1866, 9-10-9-28 then after realizing the G.SKILL Trident 2400 DDR3 10-12-12-31 was cheaper, I ordered that. Although it has a higher clock, I've noticed the timings suck.

Which is a stronger memory for my platform? Thanks!

Rig:
Core I7 3770K
GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB

Timings don't matter at all on Intel systems. Clockspeed is king. But that presumes you can even reach DDR3-2400, which you may or may not be able to.
