Yeah...my programming skill is null. I just hope I didn't come off as a fear spreader. It was just something that caught my eye and wanted to see what the more knowledgeable members on these forums thought about it.

But what's this .1% figure coming from? I think a good percentage more of Gnu/Linux users have Nvidia cards.

Hey...you aren't getting any issues with your Nvidia drivers after trying this out are you? Two posted back on separate forums that it did (though not sure if that was with the exploit working or not).
