Getting ready for crysis 3...

Getting my pc ready for crysis 3 and want to play it the same I did crysis 2...maxed out with no slowdown/stutter.

Is my pc in my sig going to be good enough or will I need to upgrade to a 680 to play it at 1920x1080 with everything maxed out?

Many thanks

You should be able to max the game just fine, you might have a few dips down to 40FPS but no big deal.

Thanks guys! Also, I just checked and im only on 285 WHQL drivers. I was going to update to the 301.42 then cancelled after reading about issues. Are there any in the middle that are pretty much tried and tested 100% stable? Looking for fps improvement in DayZ tbh.

I've Been on the 301.42 drivers since the day they came out, I haven't had one problem since. I seam to be getting 3-10% better performance in skyrim (I was getting about 45fps I now avg 47-50fps) other than that all my games seam to be behaving the same.

You are better off waiting for the GTX 700 series. GTX 780 based on the GK110 chip might be the best card for that game. Crysis 3 is not due till Feb 2013.

the more important question in regards to NVs next round is...

when do you think GK110 will become a consumer graphics card .... anyone have any further info on that?

Crysis 3 will likely be as demanding if not more then C2, which was pretty darn demanding imo... especially w texture packs, etc...
