[Kickstarter] Eternal Fate, by Escalation Studios - Page 3

Never heard of this before now, but I am more interested in this than almost any other game I've heard of recently. I don't believe in the whole "kickstarter" way of gathering funding though, for various, hopefully obvious, reasons.

Not so obvious, I'm not sure what you're getting at.

There are kickstarters that got funding that already have products released.

From visual point of view your product looks like something that might be suitable for mobile platforms.
I did not enjoy watching it at all, watched it fully only after reading your comment.
Doesn't seem PR is working.

I'm not at quake con, but overall this game feels like one of those 19438734 Wii mario games.
I'm not here to bash your product, just expressing what I feel about this game after watching video and reading description.
"Classic console RPG's" Does not sound appealing either, life goes on...

p.s. Magicka, Krater.

If you help fund anything, you should get a resulting percentage of the proceeds, IMO. But that's neither here nor there, and I'd rather not discuss it, which is why I left the last post the way it was. That's as far into detail as I care to go.

$200,000. Seems pretty steep for what appears to be an indie game.

$200,000 is about enough to pay one programmer, one artist, and one designer for a year. A game of this caliber will require more than that.

I really like the art style but the avatars themselves don't seem to live up to the environment around them. Hopefully they'll clean them up a bit by launch (if they can raise enough).
