Hi
My friend has a 3.2GB RAM. Is it enough for 64bit win7, or should i install 32bit version?

It's enough for both. You'll want to install the 64-bit version if your friend will be getting more than 4GB of RAM. W7 32-bit only recognizes 3.25GB of RAM.

You might want to double-check that.

3.2GB is approximately what 32-bit Windows can utilize regardless of how much is installed, but I've never heard of an odd amount like that since the old days when it wasn't unusual to have less than 1GB of RAM.

To answer your question though, you can run Windows 7 64-bit with that. As far as I remember, you need 1GB to run 32-bit and 2GB to run 64-bit.

Hope it helps,

Rich
