Well, only one way to find out. MORE than likely, it will. But still, take your old mobo out and put the new mobo with the cm212 and backplate in and see if it fits. WITHOUT plugging it in already. Btw, are you sure the CM212 will fit in height for that case too?

well, considering the backplate is shorter than motherboard standoffs, im sure you will be able to fit it.

The mobo i'm getting is AsRock Z77 Extreme4 And the dimensions of it are: 31.5x21.8 cm and my current mobo have the exact same dimensions.I have a friend with this board and This cooler installed,so i guess it will fit in.If not, could you send me the cheapest possible case that will fit everything without a problem and be of course a little bit future proof,to be able to fit GTX 680 or 670.I'm looking for the Elite 430 from CoolerMaster, probably the only one in my price range but i'm not sure it will fit everything. What do you think?

When you say 16 inch height, you mean the distance from the "wall" where the motherboard lies on, to the wall where the case opens?

Ok, let me put it this way, if the CM212 was sitting flat on a table, it would 6 inches TALL. Is your computer case 6 inches or more deep?
