H100 Push Pull vs Push setup

Thread Starter
***Note these are unscientific*** just wanted to test out a few things.

So, the other day I was wondering if my temps would significantly decrease by going to a p/p (push pull) setup on the H100 vs my push setup using cougar vortex fans on high. I am using a NZXT 810 switch case mounted on the top using it as exhaust for the H100 w/ no gpu usage. CPU was stressed by prime 95 on max heat/usage

SO my very unscientific findings are as such:

Push setup
i7 3930k: @4.6 ghz - 1.38v
Ambient room on both trials: 21C
avg temp from cores while on idle: 40c (this was rounded up)
avg temp from cores while on load: 74c (this was rounded up)
Highest core on load: 77c
Lowest core on load: 69c
Highest idle core: 44c
Lowest idle core: 35c

P/P setup
i7 3930k: @4.6 ghz - 1.38v
Ambient room on both trials: 21C
avg temp from cores while on idle: 38c (this was rounded up)
avg temp from cores while on load: 70c (this was rounded up)
Highest core on load: 74c
Lowest core on load: 66c
Highest idle core: 41c (ironically this was a different core from the above, the higher ((44c)) was actually at 40c)
Lowest idle core: 29c (only 8 degrees!!!! from ambient with no offset)

SO, you can make your own decisions/inquires. These were just my findings!! Now talk among yourselves!

yeah. i noticed only a 2-3* difference also. not worth the noise and seeing 2 fans sticking outta the top of my case.

If you want some improvement you will need to put that radiator outside of case - in SLI GPU-s are quite hot and is a problem when you have radiator inside - if you pull out air from case trough radiator this air is already warm. Opposite is not good for VRM's and for GPU's etc

in my case on 100% gpu usage, they never see over 65 degree's
my temp barley differs between them being used or not

(i have 11 case fans going on) ((cougar vortex's))

Honestly, with cougar vortex fans, you CANNOT hear them ((especially if you wear a headset)) while playing games. they are whisper quite with a quite room.

For WC and that much extra fun's your temps are hmmm (on 21C ambient), no wonder way you are testing other possibilities

I guess i should clearify...

On idle my gpus are 24-25c
on load they are 65c max

my temps on the gpu dont really at all where my cpu is on load or not. They seem to be the pretty solid. Thats all i was saying
