How much wattage? 3770k @4.5 + 680 SLI

Thread Starter 
Just wondering how many watts a oc 3770k and sli gtx 680's would pull? I currently have a Corsair HX750 and to my knowledge the 680's sip power compared to the old 580's.

Would my current psu suffice or would I have to upgrade?

You got more than enough power. My 3770K(4.6ghz) + Gigabyte WF3(GTX 680 PBC @ 1.32ghz) only uses 400 watts from the wall. The gpu only uses around 150 watts @ 99% usage. I dont see you using more than 600 watts from the wall with your setup.

With overvolted sli 680s at max clocks & 5.4Ghz overclock on a 3770k I pulled barely 800 watts from the wall full load, you should be good.
5.4Ghz 3770k by itself with nothing but the mobo plugged in pulled 215W, 2 x 680 at 1.36V pulled 590W with only the 2 gpu plugged into thier own PSU. Not counting in power efficiency.

With my 2 680s and my 3770k@4.7ghz the most I've pulled from the wall was 669 and that was with prime 95 and furmark running, actual gaming(bf3) it sits in the high 400s/low 500s from the wall, @roughly 85% efficiency that's 420-450 watts
