In short - If something is wrong with memory BIOS will report "abnormal" but CPUZ reports all is ok!
I decided to exchange coolers on two computers, so to be able to do this i have to remove memory sticks (LoL Noktua NH D14
) when i completed job i start computers and they start normally. To be sure that all is ok I start CoreTemp to check temps and CPUZ to see is it all memory ok. After two hours of rendering i notice that times of render is not as is expected. Quick look at Task Manager and i so that i have only 12 from 16 Gb of RAM.Coincidentally on both computers. Again i started CPUZ and hi so all 4 sticks. Same on other comp!!!
I stopped render and reset the computer . In BIOS i found that one stick is "abnormal"
On one computer one stick was not settled correctly , but on other was problem with processor - probably that i touched bottom of processor with fingers. Cleaning with alcohol solved this - Any how CPUZ is uninstalled
