Whats better high speeds or low timings

I'm looking to see the performance difference from high Mhz over lower timmings

lower timeings are always faster higher mhz are better overclocking (sometimes) stick to 1600mhz

I'm using mushkin 2133 10-11-10-28 2T and wondering how to get the timings down without over volting the whole system

Use this guide to fill out your pc specs.

If you are into benchmarking and doing HWBOT then you will want low timings. All the latest platforms for daily the mhz matter now. But honestly the difference between 1,600mhz and 2,400mhz is nothing. You really will not be able to tell it from day-to-day usage. Thanks

Then drop the speed down and tighten up the timings. Or either tighten up the timings and add more voltage to the ram. The only two choices you really have. Thanks

Stock speeds ATM 1.5 volts I've never over locked the ram till recently but wanting to know the pros,cons and the know how

Pro's are very minimal unless you're a bencher. You will never notice the difference in your day to day computing so I personally don't worry to much about it. As for what is better, that's specific to your platform. If you're using Sandy Bridge, then they prefer higher speeds to tighter timings.
