my local microcenter stores don't have any corsair hx units in stock right now, and they completely remove the items from the online catalog as well.

Well i received my HX750 today. I havent hooked it up yet but here are some pics...Feels sturdy and well put together. Says 80 plus gold right on the box.

My Antec HE 550 is right there with you in age!

I just built a new computer and I ended up going with the Kingwin 550 Platinum based on Phaedrus' suggestion.

I'd have loved to use the Antec, but I was worried it was too old to have retained the power needed for the new system.

So far so good...Hooked it up and all seems fine....Man this thing is leaps and bounds quiter than my old OCZ Stealthxtream 700.
