Yes it was. however there was at least a little logic in this machine. I am using this for my video production business and like anything else time is money. The faster I can chew through footage and edit the more $$$ you can make.
My old machine would take close to 26 hours to render a 1.5 hour Blu-Ray DVD during that time I am not able to use my computer at all so in essence I am shut down for an entire day. This one can do the same thing with the same quality in just under 5 hours. And that is not even pushing it. This machine is a tool that I will use for several years to come and I love it.
The real estate of using three screens is just fantastic.
