Help with choosing from 6 candidates

Hi,

I would like to buy a new LCD. These are my demands:

24'' (1920x1200)
RT < 16 ms
xVA or IPS technology
budget: 400 euro
pivot (wanna use it in portrait, not landscape form)

I filtered just 6 satisfying pieces in our best HW seller's webstore

1] Dell UltraSharp U2412M
2] HP ZR2440w
3] Acer B243PWLOymdr
4] Acer V243PWLymd
5] Samsung S24A850DW
6] Lenovo LT2452p

Can you advise me? I don't want to buy the most expensive one just because it could mean it is the best one. Do you have any bad experiences with any of them? Or suggestions?

I like my HP screens, but I hear that the Dell UItrasharp are nice. For me, It would be between the Dell, HP and Samsung! rolleyes.gif

I would also consider an Asus monitor, I've owned some of them, and they offer great performance/quality for the price. The PA248Q is supposed to be a real good IPS display. Asus PA248Q

Thank you so much guys for your feedback, I will also consider ASUS PA248Q now smile.gif But I still don't have a clue, why there are so big differences in price among them. I see, some have repro inside or USB 3.0 but are these things worth 100 euro in difference?

It all depends on what you need/want. Some brands like Samsung are naturally more expensive. I happen to love them though biggrin.gif

If it's an option, the Dell U2410 is better than any of those.

But if those are the only options then go with either the Dell or HP.

So, I did some research and found out about Samsung's really common backlight bleeding. I'm sure I want to avoid this -> it was all between Dell and HP. But someone pointed out about heavy AG coating in case of Dell and HP. I use display without AH last 4 years. Do you have monitor with AH coating? Is it really big deal?
