Oh right well as you meant paritions what Chozart said would be the best plan.

Ive always used 4 primary partitions,

one for windows
one for program files
one for general files
one for temporary files

having my hard drive like this stops the system partition getting fragmented, as all the internet temp files etc etc are kept seperate.
