Can't enter BIOS with CM Storm Trigger

The keyboard seems to "power on" right after the computer displays "Press DEL to enter UEFI BIOS" . Because of this, I can't enter the BIOS... What can I do?
Keyboard: CM Storm Trigger
Motherboard: Maximus V Formula

Hmmm very interesting.

I know you cant enter the bios, but by any chance do you  know if you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard?

Does that keyboard support PS/2 ?? if yes can you connect via PS/2 instead of USB? or visa versa

When I "spam" DEL, it usually takes me to a boot menu... i.e something like this:

if it's anything like my Asus board, the delete key will not register before the POST beep. Just keep spamming it before and after the beep.

Spamming or holding DEL takes me to the Windows Boot Manager. Any advice on what to do?
I'm not sure if this applies to CM keyboards as well, but a friend of mine uses a Ducky through USB and is unable to go into BIOS using that board. I'm no expert, but I believe it has something to do with the NKRO USB interface. If your mobo supports PS/2 you can get a USB to PS/2 adapter which should fix your problems. My friend's mobo doesn't support PS/2, and he has to boot into BIOS using a rubber dome USB keyboard... It's a pain but at least it gets you into BIOS.
