Hey forum,
I lucked out today and a co-worker was selling his old Eaton 3105 UPS for $20.
It still works from testing it with a laptop quickly, no idea how good the battery is though. Batteries are pretty easy to secure though for me.
My question is more so the UPS software itself, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with Eaton's Intelligent Power Protector software for both Windows and Ubuntu.
I've never used UPS software before, are there any alternatives on both the Windows and Ubuntu front that can still see the UPS's status, like some more generic ones?
