Much appreciated .
A lot of MB makers weren't including known drivers that had issued and we know that some still suck. So they expect you to get the latest available working drivers either from them or the periphial maker's web sight

My rig runs 64 bit, sorry I wasn't on to answer any questions Enterprise

I like it! Not buggy, finding drivers can be a pain, but there is more and more support now.

I've had x64 for quite a while now. Super Pi and game benchmarks (3D Mark, in-game benchmars) are all lower. I never understood why, though. My only guess is that it has to go through that WoW64 emulator thing and that slows it down a bit.

x64 did fell a lot cleaner, however. I found there were less bugs/crashes and stuff than on x86. Plus, it seemed practically immune to spyware (i never contracted a single piece of malware on it). In my case, finding drivers was no problem at all. There was a driver for every piece of hardware i had.

One thought to ponder: Since x64 only comes as OEM, does it carry that "one setup ONLY" rule?

Wow Cheers for your Imput. Yes ive heard benchmarks show a lower Score In general. However it shouldnt affect my gaming overall..Lag wise.

Lag wise, like internet connection-ish, probably not. In Doom3 time demo on x86, i got an average of 85FPS. In x64 i got an average of 79FPS.

Well thats ok. I just dont want games to slow down to the point of not working as such.

However would you Say load times are alot better ?
