I have noticed that youtube seems to be the problem. but I rather be better safe then sorry. and meaning spending a couple hundred more on one part is not going to kill me.
my TV is not one of these small ones out there where a computer does not have to push a lot. I have called ASUS about the 7970 and they said with the size of my TV it does have to be a really good card. I do know places are going to make you want to buy the more expiencive one, but when I told them I was buying else where because of price they still said that I need something with atleast 2GB, but recomend 3GB. and the card I picked would be excellent for my TV.
one other thing. when I play it through the monitor it is on. it has zero lag in it. which tells me something is not pushing what I need it to to my TV. sharp aquos 60", 8 million to 1 ratio. 240hz refresh rate.

HD 7970 is great, but GTX 680 is better... You will look like a total dumb if you say something like:

'' ummm oh i ran a youtube video on a gtx 600 serie card and it was laggy!! umm ohhh.... gtx 600 is crap! HD 7970 is betta!! hummmm. I'm sure because ic alled asus and they told me i need a 600$ gpu to run a 1080p res jsut fine! i'm trusting them so here i go wasting money for stupid reason tongue.gif ''

Thats' crap. you don't need 3GB for 1080p res HAHAHA. Remember, the ressolution make the difference, even if it was a 22inch 1080p monitor or your so awesome ( lol) TV, 1080p is 1080p. You will have the exact same result.

The refresh rate mean the maximum image per second you're TV can displau. in your case it's 240 FPS. So if youre card can do mroe than 240fps in some games, you won,t notice at all the difference. Because the minimum fps for perfect viewing is 60fps. Best of all is 120fps. Over that. It just useless..

Trust us, not the asus guys wanting you to spend 600$ on a graphic card to make more money. We know what we are talking about. i know what i'm talking about because i experienced many time some issue with gpu and monitor, bottleneck and others.

You won't be lagiing with a gtx 500 serie 2GB card streaming youtube ****... It may be youtube or the internet connexion.

Safe than sorry? what if i tell you 50$ graphic card would do the same job to watch movie on a 60 inch ( the size doesn't matter at ALL) 1080p TV?

I hope you understand that the only two important thing is the resolution and the refresh rate. also the response time but it's not a problem these's days. SO, with this said, stop talking about this 60'' sharp tv, nobody's care because it's not important. Just mention that 1080p is the resolution you will be using your computer and ehre we go, a GTX 680 2GB would be overkill for that... GTX 660 ti may be perfect for a semi-gamer.

Hope you'll understand what i wrote because you are really noob if you think 60'' sharp tv is hard to run for a gpu. Wich isn't realistic. as 85'' tv are still 1080p and 22'' inch monitor are 1080p. res is res, size doesn't matter. REMEMBER IT.

Fianlly, i don't want you to get a cheaper gpu somehow, i find high end gpu usefull for my use and won't tell you to go hd 5450. Just to understand what is important when choosing a gpu.

Did I hurt your feelings with talking about how awesome my TV is? sorry you just have a 22" monitor bro. maybe get a bigger size and you won't get rapped in Call of Duty so muc.
ok but seriously I made a video just for you and baby face. something tells me that neither one of you two have worked with big TV's....or awesome as mine, if I may say so. biggrin.gif

now in this first video. it is of the computer. (note this is all on a tri pod and D7000 nikon. (but your probably going to try to tell me that my camera is far to much as well.). but if you notice it streams very well. also like to point out I hit play right when I went to the site, so it was loading as it was streaming.
in the next video it is off of my TV. I have supplied you with my connection and dxdiag as well. and I have it hooked up with HDMI (gold tipped....but your probably going to tell me I spent to much money on that one as well.)
the best you can see the lag is at 0:20-0:25 on the left side of the screen. watch the edge of the mountain as it passes by. like I said many many times, it is a slight lag, but it is noticeable to me. and it is enough to bug the crap out of me. sometimes it is slightly worse then this. but it nly seems to take affect when things are coming or going past the camera at a good speed. if I do blue ray (X-men for example), I have no problem at all. (it is not that great as it is on my PS3. but it streams and looks very good....just not excellent like my PS3. these little things I notice. my brother-in-law computer is like a 9.8 compared to my PS3 being a 10. so to say)
so if you want to help that is fine. but name calling and acting like you are mister know it all is one thing.
as for you "codais aka baby face". we are only talking about the graphics card I am spending extra money on. the processor, memory, SSD, HD was all decided by minimal requirements by the type of work I will be going into. plus spending 100 or even 200$ more on what will help my TV out, is not going to break me. spending 200$ more on what will make me see this excellent instead of seeing it 9.5 out of 10 is well worth it to me. and do not think you could take advantage of me. I have said in this thread how a graphic card is to much for me. I have had others tell me in this thread, emails, outside that I should look at the 7950.

do not think I am mad at y'all. just do not like it when someone has never done something and act like they know what they are talking about. but I do get a good laugh at the fact when someone does go calling me a noob and yet has no clue basically what is going on because he has never had to experience it before.

Oh man there are so many things to say...
1) I have a 50" Samsung Smart TV..
2) Actually silver plated plugs are better
3) Any decent computer blows away console gaming. Ask any OCN members
4) "just do not like it when someone has never done something and act like they know what they are talking about. but I do get a good laugh at the fact when someone does go calling me a noob and yet has no clue basically what is going on because he has never had to experience it before." says the guy who was going to buy an AMD motherboard with an intel cpu... lol
5) Hit the "PRTSC" aka printscreen key on your keyboard and then open up microsoft paint and click paste. It pastes a nice looking picture like this.

6) Just remember all these people here at OCN are trying to help you make good decisions. That's all so please just respect it and don't insult us people who according to you have "no clue basically" and have never done this stuff. So keep on trucking dude thumb.gif
oh almost forgot. sorry im not much into rap but is this what you mean by getting rapped in call of duty?

TV size does NOT mater! Only res! It is 1080 stretched out. Its just as easy to run as a 17 inch 1080p monitor. Go with 660Ti SLI for some epic resaults. Oh, yeah, stop being an ass and listen. If this is your first time, I bet you have no were close to the knoladge as a lot of people here at OCN. I have platinum tipped HDMI cable, a 4D Genius Samsung V2 TV, a Nikon D3X. 2 GB is plenty for 1080P, and if you really feel the stupid need to get 3 GB, a 3 GB 660ti is only $20 more.

This guy reminds me of that other guy who said that he needed an i7 because he multitasks a lot (many browser windows opened at the same time...). And he also thought that 270 $ for 2x 550 Ti was a good deal.

On topic: That video isn't stuttering because of the 560M, there is someone else wrong. Buying a hd 7970 instead of a 7850 is not gonna make you any more "save then sorry". You are just throwing money away. Especially if CoD is another one of those games you play, because that doesnt need expensive hardware at all.

10 Mbps is actually not that great for streaming 1080p. Better spend the money on faster internet instead of gfx card.

the i7 3930K is somewhat I picked. my job was the one who told me to get an i7 that was sandy bridge and four or six core. I figured for overclocking, why not go with the 3930K.
- sure it is 200 more. but I get the option to overclock it.
- so in a way it was me, but mostly because I was told what I needed at minimum.

Same thing is said for the Memory, SSD, and HD. I was told minimum 8GB, 240 SSD, (two) 3TB HD (one would be souly for a backup). I left the SSD and HD alone. but decided to put 16GB in it, so I would not have to worry about the future on it.

and I was told that 10 Mbps was enough on here. I had a feeling it was not. but I went with what people on this board were saying. so you are the first to tell me this. and I do not mind at all spending 10$ more to get 30 Mbps.
^^^^ do you think this is the problem? (Because the only reason I kept looking for Graphic cards. is just cause of being told 10 Mbps was enough.) I was having around 3 Mbps just a month ago, but had charter come out and they upgraded the Router and did some changes to the wiring outside of the house. and it brought it up. sometimes it will show 30, and sometimes it will show 10.

With the specs you chose such as the Rampage IV and H100 I would absolutely not go with a mid tower case. The 600T will fit your motherboard, and probably the double radiator of the H100, but it'll be tough to work with such a small space, and air flow won't do well. Other than that the 600T is already priced as high as some great full towers, like the HAF 932, HAF X, Storm Trooper, Switch 810, or Chaser MK-1

Other than that the 600T is already priced as high as some great full towers, like the HAF 932, HAF X, Storm Trooper, Switch 810, or Chaser MK-1

what is your thoughts on this?

a member here had sent it over to me to look at as well. I have been thinking of going with this one. just I heard someone in this thread say they did not like the Switch 810.
