Project Rose - A Car-puter by axipher
AMD APU Entertainment System in a 2007 Honda Accord SE
Introduction
Welcome to my latest project, Project Rose. This is something that I've often thought about doing but could never justify buying a new system just for my car. Thankfully, with a few build logs under my belt, I've managed to get some sponsorship started for w truly unique build.
It all started with some talks with Rob over at AMD whom I met at the OCN Grand Champion Series in Toronto, ON over Canada Day weekend. He managed to get me in touch with the right people and got my build kicked off with a big bang with a AMD A8-3870k. I've never played with an APU myself other then a couple lower end ones in builds for friends so I'm really looking forward to doing a nice review of the chip and seeing how well it performs in a car-based entertainment system.
I'm currently looking in to securing some more sponsorship so I can truly make this build the best it can be by focusing my own funds on the car itself in preparation for the new system.
I'm going to spend as much time as I can on this thread making it the best it can be as well so please feel free to give me any constructive critcism that you have in regards to the thread or the build itself. It's my first car-puter build, but not my first time working with car audio systems so I'm not worried at all.
