The minimum card I would suggest for Eyefinity is HD 7950 OC. At the same clocks HD 7950 is close to HD 7970 perf. So get yourself a HD 7950 OC and overclock it. there are some very good deals on these cards.

budget not most important although don't spend for the sake of it. I have filled out rigbuilder. not sure why not showing in my sig. and I will be buying from ccl or overclockers.

just been looking at and reading a good review on xfx hd7950. power under load looks high. my psu is new and don't fancy replacing as yet. corsair gs800. combined with my bulldozer at 4.6 would this still be sufficient for this card and cpu?

stay away from the XFX DD card. the cooler is poor especially when overclocked. heard too many complaints. Gigabyte HD 7950 OC windforce, Sapphire HD 7950 OC Dual X have much better coolers.
