ASRock X79 Extreme 11 Owners Issues & Hopefully Fixes

I am not trying to take anything away from the "Official ASRock X79 Owners" thread, but it appears people are having issues with the LSI MegaRaid feature and I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to discuss everyone's first hand issues. I haven't taken mine out of the box. I received the wrong CPU and RAM, so I cannot do anything. Currently, Vega is having issues with the LSI Raid chip, so please chime in with your configuration and your thoughts, more importantly your results.

If you are looking to draw more attention to this specific issue, I would recommend putting it in the thread title. That way people don't think it is some type of "look what I just bought" thread.

I only know of one person that has this issue, and I think its just a faulty board. Who else has had this problem? Its not even available in the U.S. yet

24 hours, give or take an hour. I read about the board during the wee hours of Monday morning and stayed up until Newegg posted it. Hadn't fully committed to the idea of a new build yet but I figured if I didn't buy it ASAP, I'd have to wait weeks for the next batch. Too bad the rest of my stuff's being shipped by 3-legged mule.

I have a similar issue with the LSI raid on the extreme11, using a different set of SSDs. Unless we both got bad boards, I don't think it's specific to Vega's setup.

What controller(s) do your SSDs use? Currently, it seems that LSI is pointing fingers at the Indilinx controller on the Vertex 4.
