- Sometimes the trim does not work right away but can be seen after reboot or using a quick disk scan (autofix not needed) or sometimes after logging off for a few minutes. There may be cases where sometimes it is discarded too.
If you are okay with points 1 & 2 and have selected the RST OROM and not the RSTe OROM in the BIOS then I guess it does not work.
Hi ucode, I was thinking about flashing the firmware on the Corsairs too. Downloaded 5.02 sometime ago but have not had time to go through the firmware update. Nice to know that 5.03 is out already.
Guess I can hold off a little bit. because I'm troubleshooting the monitor asleep with TDR video driver recovery issue. I do not have any OC enforced. This is driving crazy and i think it is an nVidia driver issue:
Event ID 4101
Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding... blah blah blah.
It takes awhile for the monitor the come back when I move the mouse. The strange part is it happens randomly. Still trying to figure out what the hack is going on. I'm reluctant to spend any $$ on a 680 4GB card until I see some changes on the 560ti behavior, waiting for a new driver release at the moment.
