It's actually 3dmark11, ....not vantage. misspoke. But please try it and let us know. Anybody else run this benchmark with 4 sticks and 8 sticks? Even if I run the memory at the same speed....my physics score goes way down when 8 sticks are in the board.

Curious to find out here too. I've been kicking my own rear end for not going for one of the best rams, i don't even bother to set ram speed any higher than 1600 at this moment. (not sure if it would make any difference if I had gone for Platinum series instead of Ripjaw) Turned off "hardware acceleration for flash" to troubleshoot the video TDR time out issue here. ...

Jackk, IT IS NEVER TO LATE TO GET ONE OF THE BEST RAMS. thumb.gif I KNOW THE DOMINATOR PLATINUMS ( THE HIGHER SPEED ONES) ARE ALITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT YOU CAN JUST BUY THEM LITTLE BY LITTLE. wink.gif NOT MOST PEOPLE ARE LOOKING TO DUMP $800+
ON RAM. ULESS THEY REALLY HAVE THE USE FOR IT OR ARE JUST CRAZY AND WANT TO PUSH THEIR COMPONENTS TO SEE WHAT'S POSSIBLE. devil.gif SO YES YOU CAN BUY THE PLATINUMS LITTLE BY LITTLE. THEN YOU CAN KEEP THE RIPJAWS FOR ANOTHER BUILD OR SELL THEM. ETC.....

Will have to update to the latest BIOS (on 1.70 now).

Also, what is the latest Intel RST driver to install on this mobo? I have been using the RSTe drivers but a few pages back someone stated that TRIM is supported for RAID-0 (2x Corsair Force GT 120GB in RAID-0 for OS). So, is RST the one to use and NOT RSTe?

Any other important updates/tweaks to get the best performance out of the Extreme11?

I have my 32GB Dominator Platinum 2133Ghz running perfectly. The 2400Mhz kit I had did cause a lot of issues (boot hangs, monitor going to sleep etc.).
