You probably forget people can see what you post. Looks like you have a FX-8320 with a 7870. Or maybe you just never talk about your X79 platform.... rolleyes.gif

If you have something constructive to add to the thread we would be glad to hear it. If your just trolling for your AMD vs Intel/Nvidia crap, beat it.

You are taking this way too serious. I was not trolling at all. And you're really lame for reading my posts as if you have something to prove. Its the internet, get over yourself.

Lame, lol. A 2 second search just to see if you know what you are talking about or just full of hot air is worth it in my book. If you know nothing about this board and this topic please keep your comments elsewhere so you don't spread incorrect information. That's all I'm saying.

It would be nice if you could post a link or state that "you had experienced the issue, and updated from/to which version of BIOS to solve it" to consolidate what you stated (to help others). Otherwise it could be misleading. smile.gif

Anyone have any recommendations for certified RAM for this board that can bring me up to 64 GB?

I'm curious to find out too, as I'm currently running 8x4GB of Ripjaw Z 1833. GFlops dropped by half when I went form 4 to 8 DIMMS populated. I just left it as it is as I"m too lazy to take things apart to remove the rams to go back to 4 DIMMS (4x4GB) + $ is spent anyway...

Not a good feeling when I saw the GFlops dropped by half after I added 16GB of RAM to the system. (yes, i understand that running half # of DIMMS will yield better performance in most cases)

sounds like there is a great chance GFlops would drop whenever full 8 DIMMS are used on this board (if you also encountered the same thing as I did) .... waiting for someone to confirm that "GFlops stayed the same with 8x8GB of ram." Anybody?

Peace

Have you looked in bios? It could be that the board changed your ram timings automatically when you installed the additional dimms.

Im interested to know the same thing.

I just forked out cash for the Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x8GB 1866mhz. Im still waiting for them to arrive but heard they are good through a number of reviews and they look not bad either. I cant see them on the approved Ram list for the board but neither is my corsair vengeance that's in their now.

I need to sort out my graphics cards and do some more tests. Im running at 4.8ghz solid with no issues and my ram 2x8gbs of ram are running at 2133mhz. Just the GPU's now. Im getting really low benchmark scores. I selected in the bios to run everything at GEN3 and now have all my cards at x16.

Ill post some scores in a second
