Oh cpachris, you are the man! thumb.gif

I tried the two settings, now gflops in IBT is between 92 to 117 with a quick standard 5 runs. have to say I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to RAM settings. I was fixated in changing the VCCSA voltage & CL settings....

how did you figure it out? by testing or knowing what channel interleave & rank interleave settings would do from OC experience? I need to read more about ram settings. now it is time to set the ram speed from 1600 back to 2133 to see how things will go biggrin.gif

THANK YOU again cpachris. I've been trying to sort this out for months smile.gif

Almost forgot to REP up for you man! thumb.gif

Lol....I'm not brave enough to tweak memory BIOS settings that I don't know anything about. While googling, I actually found a prior post in this thread that was a similar situation, so I tried that. Glad it worked for you also. And yes...my gflops increased from low 70's to mid 140's with just this little BIOS setting change. I'd suggest anyone with 8 sticks and this board to try this setting change.

Haha, i'm reading your build log about these ram settings, learning learning. smile.gif

I set ram speed from 1600 to 2133, couldn't POST. Seems to be working fine with 1866, still happy. With look into this more when i have time. Even though ppl say GFlops is not important, mid 140GFlops is very nice to have as it is a sign of machine is running smoothly - with the prove of your AIDA tests.

What cpu block are you using coz your having the same variation im getting with the first and last core being 10+ higher than the inner cores. I didn't get that problem with the H100i but have this temp variation problem with the XSPC raystorm block.

Did you try mounting the block 90 degrees?

Yer, barbs horizontal and vertical. Same result.
The inner cores are really low but just the outer 2 cores are 10+ higher.
It's like the block doesn't quite cover the big 3930's die.

anyone done a 3-way sli array starting at pcie3 slot?

Im getting a raid card for the final slot, but would like to install the TitaniumHD rather than the onboard recon3D, so the only way to get 2 slots is to push all 3 cards down starting at slot pci3.

Hi Guys,
I did read first 36 pages, then I give it up.
I'm going to buy this mobo, but I would like to understand if it's safe to fill all 8 DIMM slots with 1866MHz modules. I do not care about OC.
I want to move to this MB also for get 64GB possibility. Damn 4K RAW Video editing is extremely resource-demanding biggrin.gif

im using 1866 with 8 dimms, but only 32GB in total. Passes memtest. Plus it's only XMP 1.2.

My settings are 1.2V for VCC and 1.2V for VTT and 1.65V (auto) for memory (it selects this with XMP anyway).

64GB and 8 dimms, might be limited to 1600Mhz (not sure).
