Phenom II X4 955 BE Max: 4,0 Ghz :( - Page 4

increase your bus speed to 203, see if its stable

4.0 Ghz is a very good overclock. too much effort for another 100 - 200 Mhz gain. just not worth it.

go for it LUUD! you may not pass prime for 12 hrs but that could be attributed to other things like anbient temp. if it is summer where you're at, then that will explain it. come cooler weather a 4.2 might get stable. if 4.2 lets you play games and do some work, i'd say shooting for it is a worthwhile task. the main thing is to have have fun and not break your rig - if you know what i mean.thumb.gif

also remember your ram ... your ram is getting OC so increase volts ... dont overclock it to much ( if its gone really high decrease the multi on it )
i know this aint the best explanation and im not the best overclocker ( im a noobie )but this was my results Warning spoiler! (Click to show)

F8, sorry to tell you but i think your system is throttling. you should be getting 51GFLOPS . . .
