i went with a 120" custom made screen and an HD projector. cost less than a tv and i couldnt be more pleased.

not at all. i did have 3 large windows down there but i got some black out thermal curtains and it kept it nice and dark and it was also the coolest place in the house. i had some pics of it i was going to put up as well but i cant seem to find them at the moment.

Edit: found a picture of my old room mate standing next to it. hard to tell how nice it was though because all the lights were on at the time to get a good shot with my crappy phone
