I Finally Made It

I finished my setup and now have my GPU and my CPU on water. While playing WoW I'm locked in at 30C on the GPU and in the high 30C range on my CPU. Not only that, but my computer is dead silent.

I had some leaks here and there while testing, but it's all good now. Overall it was a smooth process.

Don't fear the water. It's awesome. thumb.gif

WoW is marginally harder to run than a youtube video; find a game that will actually stress it!

Anyway, now that you're on water you should start folding on it. For the children. thumb.gif

Yeah I hear you. However, it's a 16C drop from air with the fan on 65+ and ... silence. I love it.

I am actually thinking about it. I am going to test it out for a few days and make sure nothing explodes first.

EDIT: Also I am celebrating by drinking the extra gallon of Distilled Water I bought.

I still have some wire clean up to do, but here you go!

EDIT: My loop is Res/Pump to CPU to top rad to GPU to bottom rad to Res

congrats...
can't put my finger on it, but there seems to be miles of hose in this build?

if you swing the upper rad 180° it should "tighten up" the tubing. making the
tubing not cross-over each other. i think that is what is happening.

or go:
res/pump>lower rad>GPU>CPU>upper rad>res/pump
might gain 1°-2°, but not so much tubing to clutter the mobo and hardware.

since the GPU is the warmest, cool it first and then the CPU..

have you also thought about making the lower rad as an intake not exhaust?
its taking your front intake fans and dumping right out of the case.
