I use Akasa viper fans and was wondering if anyone knew where to buy pwm fan hubs or how to make them? (I would need the parts)

If your trying to power more than one PWM fan to run off a single PWN output then you could use a PWM Splitter (like this) or you could use a PWM Splitting fan controller (like this one).

You could make your own cable too. Assuming your using your motherboards PWM header you can find the pin out in the hand book. supplies needed would be simple.

A few of these. Don't forget you need male and female

Some Connector Pins. (crimping tool if you don't have one.

lots of wire.

the amounts of each product will depend on how you decide to build it and how many fans will be powered.

I suggest you pull power from a 4 pin molex plug off the CPU, and use the PWM and other connections from the PWM header. if your going to build your own. Cheapest way would be to buy the cable, there are other versions of the cable (it pulls power form the PSU too) allowing more or less fans.

I personally use a Rheosmart, brilliant product. works amazing

Im not a fan of sunbeam. I have their psu kit and it almost broke with in the first minute. Besides I have no bays left lol.

I use 5 Akasa Viper fans for my rad. Their all 4 pin pwm. So wouldn't I need 4 pin connectors to get the full benefit?

I have been running the snot out of a Sunbeam Fan controller for over a year straight, works very nice.

If by full benefit you mean using the PWM function to adjust your FAN speed automatically then yes, you need 4 pin PWM spliters, or use a fan controller that will act as a splitter for the PWM signal.

PWM fans have a 4th wire, this wire sends the PWM signal, PWM(pulse width modulation) will turn the fan motor on and off at a very fast speed to regulate the RPM. The other 3 wire's are standard RPM signal(from the fan), the positive(power) and negative(ground).

If you are wanting to to use the PWM function for 5 fan's Your best bet would be the splitter I linked. this splitter only pulls the PWM signal from the mother bard, and pulls power from the PSU directly. This is great in your situation because 5 fans will be a lot of voltage and most CPU fan header's won't be able to support powering all 5 fans but a Molex plug on your PSU will no problem. If you pull too much power form a mobo fan header it will blow out. Most motherboard user hand books will outline how many amps the header is rated at, most of fan header's now days can support two fans.

You can also google "5 fan PWM splitter" if you want more of a selection when shopping.

I would also suggest you look into using PWM fans with water loops. I have read its a waste of time in most situations.

If you are wanting to to use the PWM function for 5 fan's Your best bet would be the splitter I linked. this splitter only pulls the PWM signal from the mother bard, and pulls power from the PSU directly. This is great in your situation because 5 fans will be a lot of voltage and most CPU fan header's won't be able to support powering all 5 fans but a Molex plug on your PSU will no problem. If you pull too much power form a mobo fan header it will blow out. Most motherboard user hand books will outline how many amps the header is rated at, most of fan header's now days can support two fans.
You can also google "5 fan PWM splitter" if you want more of a selection when shopping.
I would also suggest you look into using PWM fans with water loops. I have read its a waste of time in most situations.

Yeah. I have a 420 using 5 vipers. I don't think I can add a 6 do to cable routing in the front and another fan controller.
With 8 I could add another 240 rad on the bottom and power those. I also have a Scythe fan controller I use for my case fans. I need to extend my case fan wires though.
