Who's getting Medal Of Honor Warfighter?

Thread Starter
Hi guys, I'm just wondering whether or not to pre prder this game. The main reason I want to pre order is to gain access to the BF4 beta but MOH looks good from what I have seen. Who else has pre ordered or plan to get it anyway?

Thanks.

MOH seems to have turned into their "Hold on, the next BF is coming!" game. Mediocre at best and nothing more than a reskined battlefield. However if this time they blow the roof off I will buy it for sure.

Haven't pre-ordered, but i plan to get it for sure! I actually loved the last MOH multiplayer. It wasnt all run and gun, you needed to use cover & strategy more. The hail marry run & gunners out there got their heads popped off.

Also Frostbite 2 graphics look amazing! Anyone know if there is anything new added to the Frostbite 2 engine for MOH?

Yep already got it on pre order, looking forward to it. The last MoH was actually really good after some patches but it suffered because it was a bit of a mess on release so I hope they have learnt from that and this will be a good game on release.

I'll get it. I liked MOH, and thot it was kinda under-rated and over-hyped.
I like the concept of playing for different countries...nice competitive atmosphere.
Cant go wrong with frostbite 2 as well.

Naturally, I'll read reviews before buying it.....

Played the alpha and it was meh to say the least. Take that opinion with a grain of salt though as I really didn't care for the last MoH either; single or multi-player.

Also, as far as the BF4 beta access goes, I learned my lesson from the last time they pulled this stuff with BF3. If it's anything like it was last time, it's not worth it. Fool me once and such...

The new MOH looks promising. I do believe that they hope to get a bit of popularity by bringing Battlefield into their marketing strategies, but this does not mean they intend to carbon-copy everything from BF. A lot of people hated the 2010 release's multiplayer and loved the singleplayer. People often forget that Danger Close worked on the fantastic singleplayer while DICE were given free-reign over the multiplayer component. DICE experimented with MOH 2010's multiplayer to see how gamers reacted to certain elements of the design for their upcoming project: BF3. In many ways the multiplayer failed, but ultimately it was due to it being made by a company better suited for large-scale warfare and not small urban warfare. Danger Close has been given complete control over Warfighter, so it will be interesting to see how they implement the lessons learned from DICE and other shooters into the multiplayer component while staying true to the quality of the singleplayer experience they created in 2010. I am not saying the game will be amazing, most people who have played early builds of the game have mixed opinions. I am interested to see if they can bring any innovation into the modern military shooter genre. We will have to see, but I rate it will be worth purchasing based on what I have heard from critics who have played recent builds.
