Who's getting Medal Of Honor Warfighter? - Page 2

I was flipping through the channels on TV and saw a show about the Dice developers going out and actually shooting the weapons for the upcoming MoH. They are trying make the most accurate conversion from the real firearm to a video game they could in regards to recoil, accuracy, reloading, and various other characteristics.

I hope they will stay true to their research and not "rebalance" guns to fake characteristics because of some whiny kids on Xbox don't like that a weapon shooting 7.62mm /.308" rounds has more damage and range than their favorite gun that uses 5.56mm/ .223" ammunition.

If they actually do keep true to the guns, I will definitely buy this. So sick of downloading patches that are over 1GB because of people crying about "over powered" guns.

As for early access to BF4 Beta, I don't really see how that is a selling point when the BF3 Beta was nothing special.

I actually got in on the alpha, and I came out very unimpressed.

The UI was very confusing to say the least, when played in the highest settings it had this weird graphical glitch that made everything look like a cartoon, much like a Borderlands game.

I know it was a very early version of the game, but even the BF3 alpha was much better.

The featured map was very similar to something that can be found on the last MoH.

Not worth $60 IMO, will have the same approach as with the last one, will probably pick it up when it goes on sale.

People have to start using common sense; it's EA, one of the biggest publishers, they have been in the industry for years, and do know how and when to release a game..
Stop saying "let's hope they learnt..." if they didn't learn years ago and keep making the same mistakes, things will not change, period.. Don't assume anything about a game, movie, or any other hyped up media product, and more importantly, do not preorder something if you are not sure what will you get..

They did the exact same thing for BF3. They showed video docs of them out there with the swedish army or something like that, it was for the sound engine mainly though. So it would sound very realistic.

Well alpha is alpha, not beta. There are going to be bugs and glitches and thats the main point of testing to report those things. Thats besides the point, alot of big BF3 players that have been playing in the beta lately or got to play at some convention have said they loved it. Interface was a little meh, but you get used to it like any other game. Fireteam ides is really cool and the game modes are a ton of fun. Open beta starts this friday on xbox, if you have a gold membership you can download and play it. Dont even have to have preordered or anything. So if you got an xbox check it out, ill be watching streams and what not.

I'm going to give the Beta a try, but I'm not going in with high expectations. :S

I have had the first MOH from 2010 sitting in my HDD, never touched, that i got for $5 in a sale a while back. Fired it up and ran through Campaign for first time @ 5760x1080 @ 120hz. I actually really liked it! Compelling and moving story line. Graphics were pretty good for a game over 2 yrs old. Kind of short though, only @ 6hrs.

I went ahead and pre-ordered Warfighter for $45 a couple days ago from GMG. Frostbite 2 + BF4 beta entry, sounds like a win to me thumb.gif
