[Questions] Watercooling

Hello fellow OCN members wink.gif

I was planning to build my first PC in July, but I ended up delaying it to December, due to Christmas and therefore, having a bigger budget.
I first had a ~1050€/~1300$ build, with a monitor, keyboard, headset, mouse, all those things.
But in some years it would be all dead due to the hardware that I could buy with that budget being mid-range.

So, now moving to my questions.

Plz answer them by the question number so we keep an ordenate state in this thread.
Questions (Click to show)

1: Would you recommend a mATX case for a first time watercooled build?
Because Im tempted to go this way: Maximus V Gene and a Arc Mini, and mATX is sexy tongue.gif

2: Which motherboard would you recommend to watercool? (please answer according to case size given in 1. e.g: ATX mobo in ATX case, mATX mobo in mATX case)

3: Will a 240mm radiator be able to cool a 3570k and a GTX670? (if not please suggest another size)

4: Which pump would I need for a single CPU - GPU loop? I may SLI in the future.

5: Which GPU waterblock manufacter do you prefer? And why?

6: Which is the best 240mm radiator out there? I was looking at the EX240 and it looks fine to me. (please answer according to case size given in 1.) Because I might have some trouble fitting a RX radiator in a mATX system.

Thanks for your time and patience wink.gif

1}yes and no depending on case cause allot do no have to many option because they are small but you could get external rad mounts
2}GIGABYTE G1.Sniper M3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
3} a 240 should be fine as-long as you don't over-clock the living crap out of it
4} I suggest this Swiftech MCP355™ 12 VDC Pump are if you are loo-ken for overkill Swiftech MCP655
5) EK, XSPC, KOOLANCE they are nicely built from the best copper and nice looken and know how to get down and dirty for overclocking trust me you throw one of those on you will love it
6} well like i said you can go bigger with external mount radiator and EK has nice radiators good quality also look at phobya (A VARY GOOD COMPANY)

Thanks man, I do not want to build an external radiator tho.

I plan on overclocking the CPU to 4.5ghz at least and to push the GPU a bit :/

o damn that little case is loaded okay 240 rad at top A thin 240 rad at frunt (take hardrive bays out to mount it may have to take top one off)
are instead of frunt get x2 120mm rads one for bottom and one for back

Im thinking about this.

EX240 on the top and front, or EX240 at top and EX120 at bottom and leave one HDD cage :/

BTW, Arc Mini or Arc Midi?

I want a full GPU block.
I will make my own kit wink.gif

Your very first build, amigo....and you're wanting to not only do mATX but water cooling? Many folks do it, but mATX takes a bit of doing by itself even before messing with watercooling.

For a single GPU ad CPU that is over locked quite a bit, get the equivalent of 3*120 radiator area. 4*240 is kinda overkill IMHO.

Asus Gene boards are a great buy, I got one instead of the Gigabyte mATX due to the lack of SATA on the Sniper.
