Fresh Windows Install - Rec Apps/Optimizing Windows

Hi guys,

I'm doing a fresh new build here and I'm wondering what kind of apps should I get? I plan to overclock my PC as well. Also do you have any optimization tips?

I plan to run a i5 3750k and will be using it for gaming. Also the OS will be on a 128GB 830 SSD.

I always disable search indexing. http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/disable-search-indexing-in-windows-7/

Then usually I have a standard suite of free apps I install on every build like-

mse
ccleaner
cdburnerxp (if the PC has an optical drive)
vlc
openoffice
adobe flashplayer
foxit pdf reader

Thanks for that. Getting those programs! I think i've heard of another program to optimization/oc'ing but i will search.

Advanced SystemCare works better for me + I think it has more features. CCleaner just used to stop when cleaning something for me.
