I have been tweeking on my Sapphire 7970 DualX OC and this is what I have got so far.

FurMark Burn-in Score - 4408
Max temp during burn-in - 79c

Trixx settings:
GPU - 1100
Mem - 1500
Stock Voltage
Power @ +1
Ambient temp is around 22-24c (ac is on, but the room heats up quick

Running Furmark on your card is comparable to driving your car with a diesel engine in first gear at 9000 RPM, DON'T DO IT!

I have heard a few people say that, but anyway it is a very poor stability test, what is stable on furmark will not be stable in games. Games are much better for stability testing.

Yea, I did notice it made the card run unrealistically hot. Then, to top it off, about 15 minutes after running it, my computer just turned off. No BSOD, no errors screens, no reboot. It just shut off like someone unplugged it. I had to turn the PSU off then on to get it to reboot. Hope I didnt fry my PSU. With my luck, it is just out of warranty.

FWIW nice card, I use furmark to test my OC as well as 3dmark 06/Vantage/11 as I own them all i can use the extreme pre set's
Is that the Sapphire 3G OC edition 950/1000 Dual X?
If so there reference design and if you what to push them harder grab some EK FC7970 water block's and build a loop temp's max out at 46c first card 47c second card @ 1300Mhz 1.35v 6G Memory

very nice indeed pity I now have 2 Dual X coolers doing nothing, They got a whole 5 min use..

Yea, eventually I will build a loop when money permits. First I want to find a 1100 to replace the 940. Then I will start bending pipe for a full loop with an exterior radiator mounted in a box with a single blower set up like a heat exchanger on an HVAC system.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to test the dual x cooler, I basically gave the cards a quick 3d mark Vantage & 11 test to make sure they where working then ripped the coolers off. While they where still warm.. Found it easier to remove the HS when things are warm.. Always done it this way too..
