Btw VERY jealous of your chip. Mine kinda sucks. It needs high voltages to be stable
Never compare your CPU with others. It gives you an unnecessary bad feeling. And more often than not, those insane clocks aren't stable. 4.8 @ 1.45 isn't top notch but it's nothing to be ashamed of. It's a lottery, nothing you can do about it.
I'm willing to bet that 5.5 Ghz clock isn't stable at that voltage. The fact he has a Sandy super stable link in his sig but has no entries in that thread kind of confirms my suspicions. Now don't take this the wrong way F1ynn, but
If you don't want custom watercooling, then you shouldn't get a custom loop. Watercooling is a hobby and a passion. You'll get some lower temps but you won't magically overclock further or anything @ 1.45 V.
As a reply to your previous post: I'm one of the people who calls thermaltake "Thermaltacky"
. I find their products ... rather distasteful (although that 240 cooler ain't so bad).
Don't waste money, keep the H100 (perhaps some other fans if you really want to, no idea if you're using the stock ones) and enjoy your overclocked chip
