Try to reseat it first. trust me, you don't want to think you passed on a golden chip once you receive a poop clocker.

I'm bumping this because I have the same issue. Updated everything, flashed BIOS. prime95 and memtest86 passed with flying colors.

Almost always occurs in the middle of playing video, very rarely occurs while playing games, and never occurs when just playing audio. Also happened a couple times while idling. If it happens in the middle of video, I (sometimes) get a strange high pitch noise on loop.

It could happen several times in a few hours, or go an entire day without occurring.

SysFan shows all temps nominal when it occurs. Also, no mini dumps are created when it crashes. Event Viewer shows nothing crazy happening either.

Anyone got ideas?
